Do potatoes have more potassium than bananas?

Surprisingly, potatoes have twice as much potassium as a banana. Red and white potatoes have more potassium (942 mg vs. 422 mg) than a banana. One potato has just as much vitamin C


as a small orange (42 mg vs. 51 mg). Meet half of your daily needs of vitamin B6 by eating an unskinned potato. Vitamin B6 is important for breaking down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.


Follow the recipe below to make your own potato chips! Add root vegetables such as carrots and beets for a yummy veggie snack. Don't forget to drizzle olive oil of your vegetables to absorb the fat-soluble vitamin, Vitamin A.
